We will not lie to you; we’ve built the original MG Rick Dom kit, and that thing was solid and awesome. We really can’t tell how they would improve on it given the bulk of the legs and the fact it already had individually articulated fingers (20 years ago!!), so we’ll just take this new release as a blessing and a sort of updated reissue.

From what we can tell, the skirt and vernier parts have been improved for greater mechanical detail, and the foot parts have been re-molded to more precisely match the verniers used in space. Again, doesn’t seem like too big a difference, but we’re still very happy to have this kit back in our lives and we’re sure the box art is going to be awesome!

The MG 1/100 Rick Dom features an upgraded exterior and internal structure! The kit includes the enlarged backpack and rear skirt, and the internal vernier unit is also reproduced. Additionally, the Beam bazooka, giant bazooka, and heat saber are included.
